What learning modes does Ecocix offer? Currently, we provide three modes that we believe greatly benefit English learners in their quest for improvement.
We are firm believers in the effectiveness of practical applications for enhancing English skills. Our approach involves creating realistic scenarios in which learners can practice and receive real-time feedback, ultimately helping them address their weaknesses. Drawing inspiration from successful ESL and English teachers, we’ve integrated their big ideas into our platform.
Our most popular mode is the Listen and Write mode, which is based on the method of learning English through dictation. In this mode, a passage is read aloud, and the learner’s task is to write down every word possible during the dictation. This method quickly brings learners to a point where they can understand English speakers at their natural speed. Our platform offers a variety of topics, including numbers, stories, and conversations, each with easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels specified by A1, A2, B1, etc. Users can easily choose the level that suits them and start practicing.
The Read and Write mode is our second offering, focusing on reading passages aloud to improve pronunciation and become familiar with the spoken aspect of the language. Users select a section, read a sentence aloud into their microphone, and receive real-time feedback. The platform analyzes the audio, providing an overall score from 0 to 100 and individual scores for each word. This mode allows users to practice speech at their own pace, gaining valuable feedback to enhance their skills.
Our third mode is Multiple Choice, designed for learners seeking to understand the correct ways to form sentences. This mode includes interactive sentence exercises such as fill-in-the-blank, tense practice, and identifying nouns and verbs. It is intended to assist beginners in mastering sentence structure.
